Competitive GENESYS deck ideas

How to choose a GENESYS deck

Start with an engine you already understand, then decide how much of the point budget belongs to consistency, interaction, and Extra Deck finishers. A lower-point core gives you more freedom to adapt the list to your local field.

Turn a tournament list into a current deck

  1. 1. Copy or import the Main, Extra, and Side Deck.
  2. 2. Recalculate every card under the current points list.
  3. 3. Replace cards that push the list over your event cap.
  4. 4. Confirm the legal zones, copy limits, and final deck sizes.
  5. 5. Export the finished list for testing or event submission.

GENESYS Decks FAQ

Use these checks before copying or submitting a deck list.

What is the best GENESYS deck right now?

There is no single permanent best deck because GENESYS point values change with tournament data and new releases. Blitzclique, Sacred Beasts, Fairy Tail, and Exosister were among the strongest recent strategies before the October 5, 2026 mass update, but every older list should be recalculated under the current points.

Can I copy an older tournament GENESYS deck list?

You can use it as a starting point, but the original list may exceed the current event cap after a point update. Import or rebuild the list in the deck builder and verify every copy in the Main, Extra, and Side Deck.

How many points can a GENESYS deck use?

The standard cap is 100 points across the Main, Extra, and Side Deck combined. An organizer can choose another cap, so confirm the event details before building.
